The Black Sun Deception
Exposing What Saturn, the Demiurge, and the Backrooms have in common
Dear readers,
When you start to see the world for what it really is, you notice there is one symbol that is extremely recognizable:
The Black Cube:
Also known as Saturn:
Or, the Black Sun:
All of these are interconnected and all of them are highly symbolic of the reality we find ourselves in and who is running the “powers-that-should-not-be”.
The dark rabbit hole of hidden symbolism has left a lot of people anxious, isolated, and in some cases genuinely paranoid. Thankfully, more and more people have been able to feel confident that what they’ve noticed is real and that they’re not as alone as they once were in seeing these things.
One of the saddest conversations I’ve had recently was with a Mormon who told me, with complete conviction, that the God of the Old Testament is actually Satan, and that Jesus appeared to Joseph Smith to correct a corrupted Bible. When I asked if he identified as a Gnostic, he said yes, proudly, and pointed to Mormonism’s Gnostic roots as proof. (This is not true of all Mormons, but I was surprised at this one’s certainty).
This is where dualism does its finest work. Because what he’s describing isn’t a misunderstanding he invented or typical Mormon ideology. It’s one of the oldest lies in existence, repackaged and handed to a new generation as “hidden truth.”
Literally all of history has dealt with the same lie from the same fallen angel and the symbolism hasn’t changed either.
It just gets rebranded.
Paul warned us about exactly this. “Even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed” (Galatians 1:8).
Let’s look at where these symbols come from, what’s true about the connections, what’s exaggerated, and what the Bible has already told us about all of it.
The Black Sun
The Black Sun, called the Sonnenrad, has many names like most occult symbols do.
Symbols travel across language barriers in ways words can’t. That’s why occult and esoteric systems lean on them so heavily. A symbol can be taught to an initiate in 1500s Europe or on a Discord server in 2026 and mean the same thing to both, more or less.
Some symbols are so convoluted they change their meaning depending on which group or cult uses them.
Let’s start with the Jesuit seal depicting a sun burst:
Notice the sunburst itself. A “public” or exoteric sun, openly declaring itself the light of Jesus Christ.
Now look at it next to the Black Sun.

Old Ideas In a New Uniform
The Black Sun is one of the older pieces of this whole symbolic system, and tracing where it actually comes from tells us something important about how the ‘Great Inversion’ of this dark to light narrative operates.
Long before the twentieth century, alchemists were writing about Sol Niger, the “black sun” in Latin, as the first stage of the Great Work, the nigredo, a symbolic blackening or death that had to happen before anything could be transformed into gold.
You can see it painted into the Splendor Solis, an alchemical manuscript from the 1530s, and it shows up in texts attributed to Marsilio Ficino.
Then in 1888, Helena Blavatsky, the founder of Theosophy and one of the most notorious occultists of the modern era, laid out an entire cosmology built around what she called the “Central Spiritual Sun,” or the “Invisible Sun.”
In her book The Secret Doctrine, this hidden sun sits behind our visible sun as the “true source and center of divine life”, the “sun behind the sun” that governs the cosmos in ways the visible sun never could. That’s the same mystic lore we hear about symbolically as well.
A public, exoteric sun, and a hidden, esoteric one reserved for the initiated.
Blavatsky’s work went on to directly shape Rosicrucian and later German occult circles, exactly the atmosphere the SS itself grew out of.
So when the black sun shows up embedded in green marble on the floor of Wewelsburg Castle, in the hall Heinrich Himmler built as a ceremonial center for his SS elite in the late 1930s, it isn’t appearing out of nowhere.
It’s still prevalent in more modern times, even in the field of philosophy and some psychological studies. Carl Jung was a mystic. In Jungian psychology the starting point of inner work where a person must confront their repressed fears, trauma, and hidden aspects of their personality is represented by the Black Sun.
This is similar to the death, burial, and resurrection ritual of Freemasonry.
This is classic Luciferian duality.
A false choice is presented between a public light and a secret light, while the true Light is ignored entirely. They see the “Sun” as the exoteric, and the “Black Sun” as the esoteric. Neither have anything to do with the God of Creation, and everything to do with Luciferianism, where “God” and the devil are one, varying only in degrees.

Modern Day Black Sun
The Black Sun has also been called Black Star.
David Bowie’s Black Star album and Avril Lavigne both pay homage to the Black Sun:
The Black Sun symbol was even in the manifesto of the Buffalo shooter in 2022.
The infamous 1994 hit Black Hole Sun by Soundgarden also paid tribute to the occult symbol.
Backrooms Black Sun
The most recent example of the Black Sun in media comes from the director of the new Backrooms film, Kane Parsons. He became famous for his series of Backrooms videos on YouTube and was offered a deal to write a movie script.
