Re: Gandhi...later said that it was her [Helena Blavatsky] book, The Key to Theosophy, which helped him to realize the ‘greatness’ of his own Hindu religion and which saved him from “being converted by the Christian missionaries in India”.

So sad to hear that. Helena has a lot to answer for, which continues to this day and until evil is purged from creation. The illusions are innumerable but the truth is ONE, Jesus Christ and Him crucified.

Fabulous article! And yes, it would make for a great video. You clearly share the Gospel here, distinguishing it from what I think is its primary enemy ... the uni-religion ... Gnosticism ... New Age ... etc.

Great article Alexandra. Jesus is superior to mysticism and easily understood by anyone who is willing to compare it to the New Testament with an honest heart.

Yes, I would like to see it on YouTube. It is so rare that we can look into the illusions of Eastern Mysticism from the perspective of a follower of Christ. I must confess that they tried to do this for me in seminary, but not nearly so clearly. Good job!

I was thinking of asking certain questions as I was reading this article, but most of them were wonderfully answered later on. Nice job on that, along with writing a great article.

I don't know if I saw your Mindgame video series before, but as soon as it started, you MIGHT have answered a question I asked you earlier today in comments for your Spiritual Warfare article. You justify your presentations as being "information" rather than "teaching." I would LOVE to hear you elaborate on that. And as a reminder, I am NOT trying to discourage you from your VERY IMPORTANT ministry. Shame on all the Christian MEN who have dropped the ball in so many ways in their duties/callings.

One thing you touch upon that is currently in the forefront of much of my study these days, is in regard to the attributes of God, man, and the rest of creation. Much of this thought was triggered by a fellow Christian friend, who told me that he had recently heard a sermon from another church, where the pastor said, "the only thing greater than God's will is MAN'S will." It led to a revisiting of the question, will Christians after their mortal lives have LESS FREE WILL, to explain why they no longer sin, or do we STILL have free will to sin, but we CHOOSE NOT to sin? Is this a similar situation with the elect angels?

Thanks to books by Christian authors such as Tozer, we have it drilled into our heads that God is LIMITED by his divine attributes. But when one looks closer at those attributes, things get hazier, methinks. God is love, but is that because the attribute of love CONTROLS God, or does God CHOOSE to love? It is very clear that as Christians, we can CHOOSE to love, and often fail to do so. Does that mean we have MORE free will than God to love (and that God is more of a robot than we are)?

I know that this will sound controversial to many, but I am more and more leaning, based upon Scriptures, to believe that God has UNLIMITED free will. In application, that would mean that God will is not a derivative of His attributes, but His attributes are a derivative of His will.

That would mean that God CHOOSES to be holy,, not that He HAS to be holy. It is easy to understand that God CHOOSES to love. But it is much harder to comprehend other things, such as God CHOOSING to be omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, eternal, etc.

My pastor two weeks ago tried to prove that God did not have the free will to choose to LIE. And yes, there is a verse that says "God cannot lie." During Q&A, I mentioned the old George Washington story, about how he said "I cannot tell a lie," when he supposedly confessed to chopping down a cherry tree. Clearly, Washington did not say he had NO CHOICE about lying. But Washington implied that he would ALWAYS CHOOSE to tell the truth (well, at least in this case). I pointed out that this verse cannot be absolute proof that God has NO CHOICE when it comes to lying, but that in fact, God's CHOICE in the matter is SURE, that He would NEVER lie.

The Bible even says that He will never change. I would argue that this too is a matter of CHOICE, not some sort of attribute FORCED upon God.

My growing concern, is that we have found a way to raise the attributes of God to be HIGHER than God Himself. I would argue that God, in His unlimited free will, CHOOSES to be EXACTLY the way He is. When He says in the Bible, "I can do ALL THINGS," I think that goes far beyond mere feats of strength or skill.

In a similar vein, I would say that Christians are guilty of thinking that God's laws (especially the so-called "moral" ones) are something ABOVE God. That God HAS TO obey these laws also. Tozer and others have us programmed to think that God's laws flow directly from His attributes that God has to be constrained by ALSO. But the Bible does NOT say such things. God's laws are His laws, because He DECLARED those to be His laws that WE must obey. It turns out that God CHOOSES to follow many (if not all) the same laws.

Unlike God, humans have LIMITED free will. For example, NONE of us have the ability to jump to the moon using our own legs. Thus, we can choose to TRY to jump there, but we cannot choose to actually jump there.

For me, God is a MUCH BIGGER God that He was to me before. I have to have the God-given faith that God will be 100% true to His Word FOREVER (ex: He will never change, and for example, wish Himself out of existence).

I hope this did not shock or offend you. I am still working out this doctrine of God having unlimited free choice. This is one of MANY examples of how I am trying to move forward towards Reformation 2.0, that I wrote about previously..

This is a great read. So much research and time spent for the sake all of us is greatly appreciated. I would love to see a video on not only this subject, but the difference between Catholicism and Christianity you spoke of as a documentary. Thank You again for your valuable time spent for all of us.

God bless you! I have been struggling with many things, events, happenings in the world. The social media garbage. some things sound so Good but could Never get any peace. Always remembering how many times we were warned of deception. The idea of peace, prosperity, & wealth seemed like a set up for deception. ONLY JESUS coming back could bring that! Your Clear description of the religions was so helpful. I have been praying to understand what is going on. I have prayed to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. I have remembered that He will never leave me or forsake me. He loves me! I have been saved for 40 years & all the nonsense has bothered me. Thank God, for His Grace. The Holy Spirit does give understanding. Yes, you should let others see this. Many are confused! Its difficult @ times to see the truth about what is going on in the world & HOW God would have us be involved. Remember, how He tells us we are not a part of the world but are in it. I believe we do have responsibility to expose evil & with God's guidance help make changes. God is the light of the world BUT how that has been manipulated, the false light can sound so good IF not grounded in God's word. Your explanations have been awesome, what a gift from God. Jesus is Lord!

This was so much more in-depth than I anticipated, very well written!

How people will reject a complete story with depth and purpose, for the many re-tellings of the same baseless lies that have zero origin or finality or purpose.

Choose God vs Choosing Ego.

You already know my answer to "Should I make a video"?

Praying for some peace, rest, & protection over you!! <3

For Alexandria: What’s your take on philosophy? And past philosophers like Plato and Aristotle. Are there philosophers who are free masons, who have spread Masonic thought in the would through the disguise of philosophy ? I don’t read philosophers but, I often ponder on what would be considered philosophical questions. (I’m currently pondering on the existence of numbers and how they aren’t “real” but rather abstract objects. In comparison to numerology and gematria, I’m pondering on if the foundation of such beliefs crumbles depending on the philosophical conclusion of what numbers are in their relation to the world. (Similar to how time, days, months, years, are all man-made concepts used to order the world , so I’m wondering if you strip all that away, what you are left with fundamentally.)
