Thank you for the follow up with the added detail Alexandra. Most of my extended family and friends are catholic and many devoutly so (including my dad, aunts, and uncles). This one is always tough, because they point to it in the Protestant bible and that Jesus said it to Peter directly as their justification. I admit I often struggle with the phrasing myself because although I recognize it's the profession of faith that is the cornerstone in the context of the passage, it's not easy to grasp at first when you are wanting to challenge their statements. The books of the Apocrypha are easy to explain away, the fact that the church was founded by Constantine to try and consolidate power and keep the Roman Empire together 300 years after Peter's death are straight forward, and the fact that Peter established other churches also, was married, and may never have even gone to Rome are all very logical. Of course, when someone is emotionally invested and may not have the Holy Spirit within them, it is hard for them to take an honest look at the evidence and suddenly challenge what they've been taught their entire lives. So we continue to pray for them unceasingly, and ask the Holy Spirit to use us where He can, and to convict them of their diversion from the Truth so they can be given the wisdom needed to put their faith and trust in the Lord Jesus. Thank you again for your great work! Your brother in Christ, -Dan

Sending you much gratitude Alexandra for focusing a spotlight on the true cornerstone of Biblical faith - Jesus! God’s son is Jesus not Peter. “ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” John 3:16 Peter was not the sacrifice.

Have beautiful and magical day! 🙏💫💞

Thank you again for this Alexandra. My mom is Roman Catholic and I have been relaying things to her slowly about it all; got her to agree with me on the Truth about only worshipping and focusing on Jesus. She has a lot of trust in me and a strong faith that may include a connection to the Holy Spirit. But as someone who feels urged to help others, I frequently leave comments on social media, as lovingly as I can, to try to help wake others. It seems to me that there are many who are so surrounded only by 'yesmen' in their own circles, and that the Holy Spirit wants others with knowledge to offer these kinds of truths to give them a chance to hear something different--something they would never hear otherwise, from a stranger. And as expected, I receive a lot of ridicule and anger. You are blessed with a gift and talent for research that is brilliant, and it is best in this kind of setting. But I do wonder if you also feel urged to drop comments with individuals on a one-to-one basis, and if you also receive the same vitriol. Most of us have tender hearts, and so vitriol can hurt despite our best efforts to keep the words of Jesus and His much greater suffering in mind, but our tender hearts are part of an essential nature that we have that we should never lose, which I think is specifically mentioned in Scripture somewhere. And yet, our urges may be truly from the Holy Spirit, and so we must keep doing it and, unfortunately, keep getting hurt as a consequence. Maybe that's just another part of our endurance and suffering in this temporary life.

Thanks again for a great write-up follow-up to your video. It is interesting how a video or an article can lead to so many more thoughts and questions. I keep finding bits and pieces of the Pharisee's influence(s) throughout history and have wondered how the Jewish faith has been corrupted even further to not believing the Messiah did indeed already come. It is further amazing that in the future there will be a turning away from sin and toward Jesus within the Great Tribulation period. The messiah they will follow may end up being the Anti-Christ. I look forward to your direction coming next. Blessings.

Whatever the various names and entities that inoculate that of the Catholic Church …is to be aware that “they”

Are in fact Luciferian. You have to ask as to why “they” (meaning all … Jesuits and the various names and other things that you’ve discussed here in this video) all have the same motive…. For power clout and superiority. “They” truly are a product of their teacher. Deception is their game. Making the Devine into their own egocentricity.

This is a killing of true Christianity. It’s the trashing and the dismantling of the truth. But try as they may. THE WAY THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE will not be defeated or destroyed by such Luciferian lies and “church doctrines “

Lucifer and Satan are one and the same. Let us not get bogged down by all his smoke and mirrors tricks. Within the so called Churches of our day. Let us hold fast to the one TRUTH we are given. That of our LORD AND SAVIOR YESHUA. And let us ever be mindful of the inspiration through the HOLY SPIRIT of the SCRIPTURES. for they are the only final authority. Alexandra, you are truly one who is like John the Baptist. Announcing for us all …behold look here at TRUTH. just like John did at the Jordan river. May the LORD MOST HIGH YESHUA continue to bless you with your talents to help the true Church in this world of Luciferian deception and lies. ❤️

You teach me something new every time. Thank You for all your hard work. I look forward to your next article. Now, back to try and witness to my Catholic family and friends.

Hi Alexandra, and thank you so much for getting into this Peter's supposed 'church fondation cornerstone'. I'm so glad you wrote this deeper article about it because it's something very difficult to discuss with my original family and friends, as they are all still straight Catholics so, I'm always the one who gets back fireworks for questioning this sensitive topic with them. Your very informative article is of great help in pointing out a pov based on the Bible and trying to scratch at least the surface of their unquestioned belief in the pope's authority, sadly.

Anyway, on this subject I'm reading the book 'THE MATTHEW 16 CONTROVERSY, PETER and the ROCK' by William Webster and I hope that together with your article I'll be equipped for the next battle on truth. Keep it up with your excellent work of research.

Hi Alex,

I don't know wether you're aware of the sign of the Red Heifer that could be sacrificed in order for the 3rd temple to be built in Jerusalem as is prohecied in the New testament.

It so happens that it could happen this weekend as the 29th -30th March in Judaism or Hebrew is called the day of the Red Heifer.

Hamas stated on the 100th day of the war that the reason why they attacked Israel on October 7th was due to the cows being brought to Israel from Texas in the US, as they see this as the removal of the Dome of the Rock on temple Mt.

Already Muslims are up in arms about it & have threatened a regional war in the middle East.

To be honest I don't think it will happen, but according to Jewish law the cows have to be 3 years old to be sacrificed. The video above narrated by "Bob Mitchell is saying that if they do this in secret & it is found out then all hell will break out.

Anyway...

Thank you for placing emphasis on this crucial deception, as its just another example of something that billions believe, simply because they have been herded away from reading and understanding scripture themselves by their Luciferian "guides"..

I've literally made these points within comments on your last post, so I'm jubilant to see your alignment of the importance of grasping this as the deception that it is!

CONTEXT is the key!

The conversation is about Peters RECOGNITION of Jesus as who He is! the Son of the Living God! The "Rock" in this case, IMO, is referencing the SPIRITUAL FOUNDATION of Jesus being who He claimed to be and man believing in Him as THAT, and that information is the "Rock"...ie the foundational belief system that forms the Church.. ie The "Church" is the body of what?.. BELIVERS! Believers of what? In Jesus AS God, Lord, Savior! That fundamental belief, trust structure forms the Spiritual Foundation of the real Church...and as from all the past references its always Jesus who the metaphor of Rock and Cornerstone is given to.

Peter in NO way shape or form was being labeled as the "rock" of the Church by Jesus. Peter's belief and trust in Jesus was! Peters name meaning anything similar to "rock" pebble" etc in any other secondary language to his native one is merely a "reach" by those seeking to continue this deception and the supposed name correlations are really contextually irrelevant.

Another glaring issue for the "Peter was the foundation of the catholic Church/first Pope" crowd, is the FACT that DURING the conversation that they use to support this..well they apparently stop reading and miss THIS:

Matt 16:23 KJV

"23 But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men. "

!! WOW Peter really blew his "First day..or moment.. as Pope" there didnt he?!

Also IS Peter "Satan"? ..obviously not literally, but what he said was of the spirit OF Satan.. so again this may support what I'm saying about the entire conversation being about BELIEF structures.

Im sorry that I didnt see this notice in my inbox sooner, but thank you so much for this branch-off of your already greatly detailed compilation of info on this topic! Truly/Always/Eternally

1 Corinthians 15.

Thanks for another great deep dive, PA. It clarified some things for me. I was initially raised in the Catholic Church, was even an "altar boy" for a time to a priest who was eventually run out of town for molesting some of us. Catholicism never really stuck—but neither did serious engagement with Christianity in general, to be honest. Something that I hope to change.

Still, it was five years ago this week, on my last trip abroad, that I spent half a day walking the vast marble of the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter's Basilica. Not gonna lie, the scale and grandeur of the place is truly awesome: MILES of ornate halls choked with art from floor to ceiling, and a church that felt spacious enough to park a jumbo jet. As I put it in my journal, I felt puny "as under a bold night sky."

Nowadays I wonder, though: Where did that feeling of humility truly come from? Was I trembling before something purely holy, or simply stupefied at the wealth and power on display? I could never quite understand how the former and the latter can naturally coexist.

Hi Alex & everyone, ( please don't take the below as my word for it, research may be needed?)

A bit off the subject but still related. What I have studied & I believe this is that the word "Church" we are so familiar with actually & in some ways mean "Witchcraft?" Why & how?

If you do an etymological study of Church it means "Kirke" translated "Circle"in Scottish Celt.

If one traces the word, it will eventually arrives at the Greco/Roman goddess "Circe" who also was a Witch, who turned men ( women?) in pigs & lions by her drugged wine after shutting them in a room.

Doesn't that sound reminiscent of Revelation 17 where the Whore holds a cup that makes the nations drunk with her wine?

Also picked up that the Etruscans had a female goddess of the underworld named "Vatika!" That's ironic as the Etruscans were a type of "Greek" culture in...... " Italy!" Tuscany is a region in that nation in whom the word is derived from Etrusca

Isn't it fascinating that "Circe" turned men into lions & pigs? Didn't Jesus & the new testament aimed those words at the religious establishment of the day?

Peter was "Petros" in Greek, "pebble". A large rock or cliff is a "petra". In the region of Banias, where Yeshua made that declaration, there is a large rock with a river going over it, breaking off pebbles, and the cave in which people would sacrifice their babies was at its base, the "gates of Hell". Hence, Peter was an individual believer as part of the entire Body of Messiah in unity, and together, the idolatry and perversion of the world would not overcome it.
